FEP invests exclusively in Internet- and technology-based companies that are typically too small to garner the interest of strategic or financial buyers. FEP acquisitions are typically already profitable, at least two to three years old, undercapitalized, and in need of hands on management in order to achieve their full potential.
Investment Criteria
FEP looks at the following business types:
- Online publishers
- Online subscription sites
- E-commerce companies
- Lead generation companies
- Online marketing services companies
- SaaS companies
FEP seeks companies with the following characteristics:
- Track record of profitability
- Revenues of between $100,000 and $3,000,000
- Clearly established niche or product category
- Requires additional capital for growth
- Undergoing a management transition or exit
- No geographic constraints
